Every award is a gift. It shows us that we have done a lot of things right and that our thinking and actions are bearing fruit.
In the best vineyard sites, the Vernatsch grape variety has far greater potential than it has long been credited with. A superbly crafted St. Magdalener is not only characterized by freshness and fruitiness, but also impresses with its elegance, finesse, and aging potential.
The alluvial soils with sandy and gravelly deposits of the Isarco River provide the best conditions for our Lagrein. We believe in our terroir and demonstrate that Lagrein is capable of greatness.
In 2009, the St. Magdalener CLASSICO from Pfannenstielhof became the first in South Tyrol to receive the “Gambero Rosso's Three Glasses” award. Since then, we have consistently continued on our path. In 2019, Johannes Pfeifer was awarded the AIS "Tastevin" for his lifetime achievement.
We are thrilled to have received so many awards and continue to work together to create exceptional wines that inspire people.
