The 2021 vintage year proved to be demanding and challenging. The winter months were predominantly sunny but cold. Temperatures rose only tentatively in spring, slowing down development of the vines. However, a warm and sunny start to the summer managed to offset this. July and August saw changeable weather. Ideal autumn weather rendered the grape harvest relatively straightforward and produced some very promising quality grape must.
