A highly prestigious award goes from London to the St. Magdalener region. Decanter has awarded the Pfannenstielhof's 2019 St. Magdalener DER PFANNENSTIEL. the highest rating of "Platinum" and 97 points . The Decanter World Wine Awards are among the most influential wine competitions in the world.
An international panel of experts, including 22 Master Sommeliers and 72 Masters of Wine, assessed wines from 57 countries. The coveted "Platinum" has only been awarded 187 times worldwide. DER PFANNENSTIEL. joins the illustrious ranks. It was one of only four wines from South Tyrol to receive the "Platinum" award - and the to do so. only red wine.
Decanter attests the St. Magdalener DER PFANNENSTIEL. "an exceptional rose petal, wild flower and black tea fragrance encased in a wonderful sandalwood structure whit an enticing red liquorice acidity and rounded, supple tannins. Flamboyant and long whit a mocha, coffee bean finish."
